1. What is CovetCare?
   CovetCare is a software program that is clinician controlled to produce customized and automated assessment and care planning documentation for long-term care providers. CovetCare was developed in response to the outcry from nursing home clinicians for a quick and clinically logical method of producing their assessment findings and treatment plans.
    
   Once a resident’s admission data is entered into CovetCare, the program automatically generates discipline-specific assessment forms. Upon each clinician’s input, proposed discipline-specific assessments and care plans are produced for review and acceptance, rejection or edit. The finalized nursing care plan generates a nurse aide assignment sheet. Thereafter there is an automatic synergy of all disciplines’ care plans, resulting in a proposed, resident-specific, comprehensive care plan (CCP) for team discussion, cross-checking and edit against the triggered RAPs.

   CovetCare is ideal for all long term care providers and clinicians, wanting enhanced and prompt methods for documenting assessments and care planning.
