About Phyllis Ramzel
 Phyllis Ramzel brings more than 40 years of service expertise in the
healthcare industry and is considered one of the industry’s true
leaders. A graduate of the prestigious NYU Bellevue School of
Nursing, she brings to the development of CovetCare her extensive
knowledge of both long term care and leadership.
Upon receiving a BA in nursing, Phyllis began her career as an RN,
while concurrently continuing her education at C.W. Post College and
Adelphi and Syracuse Universities. She earned dual Master’s degrees
in Community Health and Education and received a Geriatric Clinical
Specialist certification.
Her expertise has earned her the privilege and responsibility of
serving on national, state, and city community agencies and boards.
Phyllis has published numerous articles about long term care
management, and has received awards and recognition for outstanding
achievements that benefit the health care industry. She has served
as a visiting faculty member of Long Island and Hofstra
Universities, teaching Quality Assurance in Health Care and Health
Care Marketing.
